For two decades, I built my career as a defense litigator at a large Philadelphia law firm, navigating the intense demands and high-stakes environment of the legal profession. Like many attorneys, I often found myself grappling with stress and pressure, searching for a way to create more balance and ease amidst the whirlwind of practice. This search led me to enroll in the Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) Program at the Myrna Brind Center for Mindfulness at Jefferson in Philadelphia.
From my first experience with mindfulness, I felt a profound shift—not only in my career, but also in my personal life. The benefits were so impactful that I knew I wanted to share this transformative practice with others. I completed the extensive MBSR teacher training at Jefferson, where I now teach MBSR and graduate programs.
Drawing from my firsthand experience as a litigator, I understand the unique pressures attorneys and professionals in high-stress industries face. My approach combines practical legal insight with mindfulness training to offer tailored tools that help individuals manage stress, enhance focus, and build lasting resilience. Whether through individual coaching, team workshops, or corporate training, my mission is to help others feel more grounded, recharged, and connected to what truly matters—both professionally and personally.
In addition to my work at Courtney Schulnick Mindfulness and Jefferson, I am also the Mindfulness Program Leader at Shortcut, a company redefining corporate wellness by revitalizing workplaces and transforming employee well-being. Through mindfulness workshops and multi-class sessions, I guide employees in managing stress, enhancing performance, and finding deeper fulfillment.
Beyond my professional life, I cherish time with my husband and our three sons, who are my greatest teachers, constantly reminding me of life’s simple joys. In my (rare) free time, I love creating embellished stick-figure drawings for my greeting card line, Adventures of Little C. Designing these cards allows me to connect with people through kindness and compassion, and I hope they bring a smile to someone’s day. I invite you to explore the collection here.
I’d love to connect with you, whether you’re curious about mindfulness, exploring corporate wellness opportunities, or simply looking to bring a bit more ease into your life. Let’s connect and start a conversation!
